Haverhill, MA Coastal Partners has completed development of the 119,000 SF free standing BJ's Wholesale Club, with gas facility, at the Ward Hill Office Park. The BJ's had a successful grand opening August 3rd which included state and local officials and BJ's senior management and staf to celebrate.
BJ's new property is located on a fourteen acre parcel immediately of Route 495 at the intersection of the Route 125 Connector and Shelly Road. The development plan included raising an existing 175,000 SF industrial building, install a new drainage system, upgrade the wetlands, and erect a 119,000 SF prototypical BJ's with their sigature New England facade and retail gas and propane facility. In addition to the BJ's Development Coastal Partners worked with Mass Hwy. to widen Shelley Road to accomodate designated access and turning lanes and install new signal mast arms throughout the Route 125 / Shelley Road intersection.
BJ's development team includes, RJ O;Connell civil engineering; Ci Design architectural / mechanical / structural, Vanasse Associates Traffic; Masterson Construction site contractors with construction lending by Key Bank National.
